HISTORY OF THE FIRM
AGILE Design Studios, PLLC was born in the Town of Morrisville, North Carolina in the midst of one of our
nation’s most severe economic downturns. Founded in November of 2008 by Kenneth Richard Dodson, RLA,
our team is a full-service provider of Landscape Architecture and Graphic Design services in North Carolina.
From initial site investigation to public meetings and design development to construction administration our team
offers you experience in all phases of the design process. In addition, we offer specializations in graphic
design and historic/cultural interpretation.
WHERE CREATIVITY TAKES FLIGHT . . .
But it is creativity for which AGILE Design Studios is best known and it is in this direction that we drive the
studio. We are also committed to utilizing the newest technologies including the latest versions of industry
standard software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash) and
Microsoft Office.
LOWER OVERHEAD = RATES YOU CAN AFFORD
By utilizing the latest technology and keeping our overhead very low we increase efficiency and productivity -
and pass the savings on to you. In addition, it is our philosophy to spend only what we make. As a result we
never borrow money so we avoid added interest, administrative costs and losses that other firms merely pass
on to their customers. Instead we seek steady and consistent growth for the long term. And at AGILE we work
hard to keep our rates low to benefit your bottom line. We guarantee our rates will beat the competition.

But most importantly, at AGILE we consider ourselves Stewards of the Land. As a result, we are
committed to giving back to our community via the studio’s Genesis Initiative, a program dedicated to
